How to Check Malta Single Permit Status Online (Identità Malta Portal Guide 2026)

If you have applied for a Malta Single Permit (Work & Residence Permit) through Identità Malta, you may have seen different status updates on the online portal — and felt confused about what each one really means.

In this blog, I will explain every Identità Malta portal status in simple English, so you clearly understand where your application stands and what happens next.

This guide is updated for 2026 applicants and is especially helpful for Third Country Nationals (TCNs).
