 🇲🇹 Malta Introduces Mandatory €250 Integration Course for First-Time TCN Applicants (Starting 2026)

The Government of Malta has officially announced a new requirement for all first-time Single Permit applicants (Third Country Nationals – TCNs). Starting 5 January 2026, applicants must complete a mandatory €250 Pre-Arrival Integration Course before submitting their application.

📅 Key Dates

• Course availability: 5 January 2026

• Mandatory for applications: 1 March 2026

After 1 March 2026, no new single-permit applications will be accepted unless the applicant has already completed the course.

📘 What the Integration Course Includes

The 20-hour course costs €250 and is designed to prepare applicants for life and work in Malta. It includes:

• Short assignments

• Final assessment

• Live online interview

माल्टा सरकारले पहिलो पटक Single Permit आवेदन गर्ने सबै TCN (Third Country Nationals) का लागि नयाँ नियम सार्वजनिक गरेको छ।
५ जनवरी २०२६ देखि सबै आवेदकले भिसा आवेदन गर्नु अघि €250 Pre-Arrival Integration Course अनिवार्य रूपमा पूरा गर्नुपर्नेछ।
